Greenwich Symphony Orchestra turns fifty
For year after year of beautiful programs we owe
profound thanks to literally thousands of people: David Gilbert and the gifted,
dedicated professional musicians of this fine orchestra; members of the
Symphony’s Board of Directors and Guild, whose time and ideas and energy have
allowed the GSO to run without salaried management; and our Friends, whose
extraordinary generosity has been essential to the Symphony’s financial
stability.
Looking ahead, we invite you, music lovers, to
join in the behind-the-scenes work. If you have computer skills, bookkeeping
know-how, or financial expertise, if you have a little time to assist us with
program advertising, fundraising, or public relations, have we got a place for
