Krystof Witek has
served as concertmaster of the GSO since
2003. He has appeared as soloist and chamber
musician throughout
Europe, Canada, Japan, Taiwan and the U.S. as well
as with the New York
Chamber Symphony, Mostly Mozart Orchestra
and New York Pops.
Mika Rännäli has
established himself as one of the most extraordinary
and intriguing artists of his generation.
After winning top
competitions in his native Finland, in 1997 he
debuted at Carnegie Hall's
Weill Recital Hall as the winner of the Artist
International Auditions.
He has toured extensively in Scandinavia, central
and southern Europe, Japan
and the U.S.
''(Rännäli) . . . a technically exciting
virtuoso, . . . his wonderfully penetrating lucidity unfailingly clarifies the
style, content, structure . . . of all the music . . .
Destined to become an influential denizen in the Music World.''
